Bug Description
When I launch the application "Standard Notes" the application window appears as solid black. I have had to change from using the Nvidia graphics driver under 22.10 to the Nouveau driver since upgrading to 23.04 because the Nvidia 390 driver wasn't working (I have a GeForce GT 730 graphics card).
1) Ubuntu Release: 23.04
2) xorg package: 1:7.7+23ubuntu2
3) What I expected to happen: the Standard Notes would launch normally and would be usable.
4) What happened instead: the Standard Notes window launches but is a solid blob of black - the application is completely unusable.

Were you actually using Xorg or Wayland when the problem happened? Sounds like the same mutter issue as bug 1987976.
