description |
If a chapter is defined as having a starting timecode of 00:00:00.0 in a Matroska file, mplayer is unable to skip to that chapter. |
In some files, mplayer is unable to seek to the first chapter. It seems to be related to having the timecode too early somehow. I was able to work around it to some extent by setting the timecode for the first chapter to something that starts on the second frame rather than the first, i.e. for this 23.967 fps video, 0.05 seconds works while 0.04 seconds doesn't. |
