Ubuntu MATE 18.04 (Japanese environment)
Select Japanese and install it. After that, if you set Japanese input, "fcitx-mozc" is selected as input method.
There is a problem with this "fcitx-mozc".
Now I am in a state that I have not started any application.
Click the top bar keyboard icon (jp) with the left mouse button. A dialog for setting opens. This is normal condition.
Next, start up a text editor such as Pluma. A keyboard icon (jp) is displayed to the right of the top bar.
Click here with the left mouse button. A dialog opens, but it is completely white. After that, it will not accept keyboard input. As for the mouse, the cursor moves, but the click does not work.
There is no way to get out only by forcibly turning off the power.
Currently, "ibus-mozc" is installed and used as Japanese input method. |
