Bug Description

Binary package hint: miro

Ubuntu 8.10
Miro 1.2.6-0ubuntu1

What happens:
* I'm watching a video in Miro (not fullscreen)
* The screen saver activates

What I expected:
* While I'm watching a video Miro should disable the screen saver and other screen related changes.

Can you give more details about this behaviour - particularly, does it apply when Miro is playing fullscreen? What desktop environment are you using?

When Miro goes fullscreen, it should disable the screensaver (in GNOME, at least). I'm not certain whether Miro should disable the screensaver when not in fullscreen mode.

I've updated the description. This behaviour is whne Miro plays a vieo not in full screen mode.

I can confirm this behavior with the stock ubuntu version of miro on Lucid.
