The migrationtools script generates a user account including a mail alias objectClass="nisMailAlias". The import to slapd fails because slapd.conf does not include the misc.schema by default.
I happened to run into this on my "root" user, an account I did not want to import in LDAP anyway. But, I thought I'd point out the problem.
Either a warning should be emitted signifying the need to include misc.schema or a straightforward way to filter the users and groups to remove all those below UID=1000 or something would be great!
Of course, this was my first time ever attempting to setup and run these tools, so this problem may have more to do with my own ignorance than with the scripts themselves.
