Host OS desktops get mixed in one screen

Bug Description

Since the update of Tuesday night 24th of March, two of my desktops get mixed into one screen. It is virtual desktop 2 with with Xubuntu 20.04 and desktop 3 with an empty Host screen with the exception of Conky.

I think it happened after an update of the Host OS Ubuntu 20.04: A full screen VM display correctly. However each Host screen with a window is displayed with the last full screen Virtualbox VM. Last is the one with the highest number. I can get even 3 virtual desktops mixed in one screen, see screenshot.

I updated my i5-2520M laptop and I do not have the problem there. I use Ubuntu Mate 20.04 there and the same Virtualbox release, exactly the same VMs (copied from the desktop) do not give the problem.

I've detected, that if you select a virtual desktop through the mouse on the displayed virtual desktop panel on the right, all desktops are displayed at the same moment on the screen.
If you use the Windows-key and page-up page-down the display is as expected and perfect :)
