In dual panel mode, in some cases it is not possible to create new conversations

Bug Description
Consider the following case:
- Open messaging-app in dual panel mode (desktop, pocket desktop or arale in landscape mode)
- Click one existing conversation
- Open the contact profile, or click the add to contact button
- Press "+" on the header to create a new conversation
Currently in this case nothing happens, but it is expected that somehow the new conversation page appears.
UX Solution:
If changed are made a prompt should appear asking you to save or discard changes.
If no changes are made then create a new conversation.
