Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding meld. This problem was most recently seen with package version 3.18.0-6+sicklylife~ppa1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/f5ad4a9b2f1035553a8cf3b66f62c8a1719b192c contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.
