Bug Description

In zesty and xenial+overlay, the mediaplayer-app won't start when attempting to play videos, because the .desktop file is marked as hidden.

we want to show it in dash as it functions correctly as full fledged desktop app

looks like two problems:
1) get rid of OnlyShowIn=Old
2) after doing so and launching in u8 shows an error dialog. I believe we have code to show the file picker to choose the file and we should make sure to show that so that app is functional on the desktop.
