Bad tab preview when using Firefox and hovering above taskbar

Using latest Ubuntu MATE + Firefox, when I hover my mouse cursor over the tag preview over the task bar it does not show the proper representation of the content.

This used to work well in a somewhat distant (~6+ months ago) past.
