lxnm doesn't work, and deletes nm-applet

Binary package hint: lxnm
Well, i have both LXDE and Gnome installed from a long time, and i'm very interested on having both working in the same machine, and the same Ubuntu instalation. Sometimes i login with LXDE, some other times with Gnome, JWM, PekWM, Fluxbox, etc.. I really enjoy a lot the freedom on choosing the window manager any time i do login on Ubuntu, and like to test diferent behaviours of window managers, making and testing themes for each of them, etc.
The problem is, from the last update, a lxnm package appeared as dependence of lxde, and conflicts with the package which has nm-applet (network-
And as well, i can't understand how conflictable is lxnm to nm-applet, since it has only a sh script...
Please help fixing this problem as soon as possible - i would like to help on it if i was that skilled, and sorry about...
I consider this situation somehow critical...

update that deleted LXDE automatically : march 20, 2009 - around 8pm (lisbon)
update that removed nm-applet after reinstalling LXDE (installing that non-working lxnm): march 23, 2009 - around 10am (lisbon)
