Binary package hint: lxkeymap
When you choose a new layout, the setting is correctly set, but it's not saved when the system is rebooted.

Setting to confirmed.
The lxkeymap code does not currently attempt to save the settings, as far as I can see.
Specifically, the ok method in PreferencesLxKe ymapDialog. py does nothing at all. It may have been created by some sort of code skeleton generator, and then not completed by the programmer? I have no idea whether this is deliberate, and I am misunderstanding the code, or whether this was an oversight.
Where *should* these keyboard mapping settings be being saved? Are they to be system-wide, or per-user?
