Bug Description
As a user running an lxd command for the first time when lxd-installer is the command, lxd can take an exceptionally long time to launch. This is because the following may be happening:
1. lxd not installed, so call a `snap install lxd`
2. snapd not installed as a snap, so snapd deb must bootstrap snapd as a snap
This means multiple snap downloads and installs, then the first lxd command may occur.
lxd-installer should provide some information about what is occurring during this phase.
