Bug Description

lvm2 2.02.39-0ubuntu11

/sbin/vgcfgbackup hangs.

Killed the associated processes and modified the
var/lib/dpkg/info/lvm2.postinst to not attempt to backup any data.
The package was then removed from my system.

I ran into this same problem. Hung on recent update (Oct 7 or so). Decided to remove package so edited /var/lib/dpkg/info/lvm2.prerm to remove vgcfgbackup call.
