Bug Description

Binary package hint: lubuntu-default-settings

Chromium and Sylpheed need to be set as default applications by default in libfm-pref-apps (default for pcmanfm and libfm). We should add a /etc/xdg/lubuntu/libfm/pref-apps.conf file to specify it, and test if it's correctly set in libfm-pref-apps by default.

The original bug description seems to lack information on the effect of this file being missing, making this hard to test.

I *think* this needs a file /etc/xdg/lubuntu/libfm/pref-apps.conf that says something like:

[Preferred Applications]
WebBrowser=chromium.desktop
MailClient=sylpheed.desktop

adding to lubuntu-default-settings. But, without knowing what issue this fixes, I can't readily test this.

Please can we have a clearer description of the issue (how it affects the user, steps to reproduce) added to this bug report? If this info is already provided elsewhere (lubuntu-desktop mailing list archives?) please provide a pointer to that information.

Thanks!

Exactly, sorry for the TODO format.
Currently, libfm-pref-apps is broken in Natty, so It could be difficult to test it.
