Bug Description
This webcam requires module uvcvideo, but it is not being loaded in Mint 8 Helena Main.
Workaround: add the following to rc.local to load uvcvideo and force V4L2 and V4L1 to stack in the right order:
/sbin/modprobe -r uvcvideo
/sbin/modprobe -r v4l1_compat
/sbin/modprobe -r videodev
/sbin/modprobe v4l2_common
/sbin/modprobe uvcvideo
