2008-10-10 19:44:04 Ralph Janke linux: statusexplanation not sure if this is exactly the right package, but I think that whoever knows that it's wrong can easily set the right one. The Intrepid Ibex 8.10 Beta release was most recently announced - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/intrepid/beta . It contains the 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel. It would be great if you could test and verify if this is still an issue. The status is being set to Incomplete until we receive further feedback. Thanks.

I am closing this bug report based on the original reporters comments that he is no longer experiencing this issue. see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/221677/comments/10 . For those who still have an issue, please verify you have the same hardware as the original bug reporter otherwise open a new bug report. Additionally, if you open a new bug report regarding this issue, please make sure you have tested against the actively developed kernel. The Jaunty Jackalope Alpha series was recently released which contains an updated version of the kernel. You can download and try the newHJaunty Jackalope Alpha release from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty/ . Also make sure your bug report is against the 'linux' source package. Starting with the Hardy release, the kernel source package naming convention changes from 'linux-source-2.6.x' to just 'linux'. Thanks.
