Bug Description
Used Ubunutu 22.04 with the current 5.15.x Kernel, cross tested with Linux Mint and 5.14.x Kernel.
I have a Lenovo 300e 2nd Gen with an ELAN Touchscreen AND Touchpad with AMD processor.
The Touchscreen is working flawlessly.
The TouchPAD is dead.
According to the Windows driver:
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_
%ELANHIDDeviceDesc% = ETD_HID_
....it is an ELAN066C
According to similar solutions i tried to block several built in kernel modules, without success.
