Bug Description
Hi,
I have experiencing this for a while now (1 year+), with the laptop (Thinkpad T430s) stalling at times, and often for a long period (hours). Even under very low load. In fact, the issue seems to affect input devices (mouse and keyboard, both external and built-in devices), as the screens continue to operate normally and receiving notifications from applications, such as Slack.
The /var/log/kern.log gets flooded with messages like:

Would the problem be linked to a driver that controls a pci device? A malfunctioning hardware part? Sometimes the issue is not noticed for days.
I should also note the disc is encrypted and even if I restart the computer, when Ubuntu starts loading and the prompt to enter the password to access the disk, the issue is already manifesting itself: I type the password and sometimes the key that is pressed is not sent, sometimes it is send twice.
Any other information I can provide, please let me know. Thanks!
