[Hyper-V] ubuntu server with hyper-v virtual machine will freeze processes

I just installed an ubuntu server image with hyper-v and I am using tmux over it's bridge network to compile some rust projects and it seems to randomly hang the cpu, some processes like ps will just freeze before printing the last lines.
