Bug Description
I upgraded from 16.10 to 17.04 three days ago. Three times since then, I have had a kernel bug, which froze my desktop.
Each times it has happened while I was using firefox.
This time, I was using firefox, and the firefox window froze. Then I opened a terminal and did "ps axuwwww". The ps would not complete, it froze halfway through executing. Then I did a dmesg and saw the kernel bug. Here it is, from my kern.log file:
I do an "apt-get update" and "apt-get upgrade" and it says the machine is up to date on patches. It was so before the bug as well.
Here is the crash message in kern.log -
