Bug Description
mpt3sas (and earlier mptsas/mpt2sas) as shipped doesn't support ata secure erase:
/dev/disk/
Issuing SECURITY_ERASE command, password="Eins", user=user
The running kernel lacks CONFIG_
SECURITY_ERASE: Invalid argument
This already appears to be fixed upstream: https:/
can we get it pulled into Ubuntu asap?
Thanks
