Bug Description

The i915 driver crashed on Kubuntu 16.04 beta 2 on a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 3rd generation.

I think the crash happened when KDE attempted to perform automatic login. After the crash, I believe X was restarted. The login screen was shown and I could log in and use the computer normally.

I believe this bug has some similarities with freedesktop bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91960 and launchpad bug 1555078.

This bug is still present using kernel 4.5.5-040505-generic from yakkety, excepted that the crash occurs at line 599.

This bug is still relevant. Had to reboot my laptop 3 times this week.

Anybody knows the solution?

It only happens when full screen on youtube.
