Bug Description
Wireless WPA was working this morning with varying delays from 30 seconds to a couple minutes when I connected manually with systems settings network.
This evening booting cold after 12 minutes still no automatic connect. (After 10 minuties I had booted Acer Aspire 5253 with Broadcom, Quantal A2, connected automatically right away proving network O.K.)
At 12 minutes or so, did ubuntu-bug network-manager. When it asked to send report, I selected systems settings network. Sluggish response, for example 28 seconds to connect even after it found the network name.
Finally up and running, hardly what I'd call connect automatically. Kernel 3.5.0-2 must be having a problem with Centrino wireless N that it does not have with Boradcom.
Is there any way to trace what 3.5.0-2 is doing after cold boot that it does not connect automatically?
Bug #1015096 is related, that was with kernel 3.5.0-1 when it was very difficult to get connected at all.
Thanks, Jerry

Hi, jerrylamos,
I thing that you report against the wrong package. It seems to be not the network manager by itself it is more a problem with the kerneldriver.
I swithc the package to that.
