Bug Description

Downloaded Herd 4 testing-iso (MD5: d4052bc02e51e0c7d7df4918cbe8b078). On my Asus P5B-Deluxe boot fails. It looks like it's happening while setting up some USB stuff.
Using no extra bootoptions it prints a message like "/sbin/modprobe - Abnormal exit" and stops.

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package.
