Bug Description
dmesg | grep FTDI:

[ 9.054330] ftdi_sio ttyUSB0: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0
^ * Clearly it connects the device to ttyUSB0 (which is what I want), and then it disconnects right away.
