Bug Description
Closing the lid, which puts the laptop to sleep, renders the laptop non-responsive (won't wake). The laptop doesn't go to sleep, in the sense that it drains the battery over the next few hours and then shuts down from battery exhaustion.
This wasn't the case before the most recent apt upgrade.
It appears that I used to be running kernel 5.19.0-46 and am now running kernel 6.2.0-26.
