Thanks for the bug report.

Please try adding kernel parameter:

  i915.enable_psr=0

to /etc/default/grub in the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT line and then run:

  sudo update-grub

and reboot.

Does that fix it? If not then please attach a video of the problem.

We'll keep the bug open because the issue shouldn't ever happen out-of-the-box. The next person to use the same laptop model will run into the same problem.
