Bug Description

Binary package hint: linthesia

When I try to launch Linthesia from the Application Menu, I'm taken to a folder to navigate to a MIDI file, but it crashes immediately after selecting a file. When trying to launch from the terminal, it returns the message 'segmentation fault'

I was able to launch it accidentally and successfully by Alt+F2.

I haven't used this application prior to Maverick, so I have no comparison base to previous versions.

Since opening Linthesia via Alt+F2 works, then edit the menu entry for Linthesia and just retype linthesia in the Command box. This should make it work. I have Ubuntu 10.10 maverick and that worked for me.

I have the same problem and for me it doesn't work even when using Alt+F2. It is asking for the midi file and then I get an error that Linthesia detected an unknown error and must close. Please help!
