After installing Likewise-open5, and running the command domainjoin-cli --log domainjoin --loglevel verbose join hellema.loc Administrator, it gives a password prompt. After entering the right password, it displays the following:
# domainjoin-cli --log domainjoin --loglevel verbose join hellema.loc Administrator

<email address hidden>'s password:
Error: Undocumented exception [code 0x0000200c]

Machine is not connected to the domain.
After this action, lsassd is also died.
Also attached is the --log domainjoin logfile.
Please advice?
Looking at the log, it apparently chokes on reading the "workgroup" value from a previous /etc/samba/ lwiauthd. conf lwiauthd. conf file, like a leftover of previous likewise-open (4.x) installation ?
Do you have an existing /etc/samba/
If yes, could you try "sudo apt-get purge likewise-open" to get rid of that file and retry your domain join ? Thanks !
