PixelView Playtv 8000gt (cx88) not working in intrepid

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid, kernel 2.6.27-7-generic
While loading the module, it appears to be ok, and the /dev/video0 is created.
But when I try to watch any Channel (from cable or antenna), Composite input or S-Video input, it doesn't show anything, as if there wasn't any card.
I've tried with MPlayer, VLC, XawTV and TVtime. But none worked.

When I run xawtv, it returns the error:
libv4l2: error dequeuing buf: input/output error
