Libreoffice Writer wiping index entries on save

Bug Description

Latest Libreoffice writer in Xenial wipes all user created index entries upon save.

To test (as attached):
- Highlight a item of text (i.e. Lorem Ipsum) then choose Insert Index Entry
- Click Insert
- Repeat for multiple indexes
- Then add new page and add Alphabetical Index
- Save and Close file
- Open File again then right click on Index and Update Index - all entries are gone!

I have discovered this in 20Mb 200+ pages file - all my indexes are now gone - lucky I have backups

Libreoffice Writer (libreoffice-writer/xenial,now 1:5.2.0~rc4-0ubuntu1~xenial2 amd64 [installed]) installed via deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu xenial main

I have reverted version to default Xenial install (without the PPA)

Version: 5.1.4.2
Build ID: 1:5.1.4-0ubuntu1
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-NZ (en_NZ.UTF-8)

and can not replicate, so the bug must have been introduced somewhere between that version and the ppa release as below:

Version: 5.2.0.4
Build ID: 1:5.2.0~rc4-0ubuntu1~xenial2
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-NZ (en_NZ.UTF-8)

Thread CPU: 4; Versione SO: Linux 4.4;
Versione locale: it-IT (it_IT.UTF-8)

- Edit a document in .odt format and create an Index (by Insert -> Index)
- Insert new index entries
- Save and Close file
- Open the file, then Update Index (by right click on Index)
- Index is empty because all entries are gone!
