This isn't actually a dbus bug, it's a bug in the version of libimobile device that is in Maverick. This has been broken since November, and the only "fix released" was in Natty. It would be nice if one of the kind Ubuntu developers could push 1.1.0 to Maverick so we can mount and use our iPhones again there. I've tried using Natty and it's just too unstable for every day use, and I can't exactly tell my friends to update to Natty so that their iPhones mount again.
