I was using iphone with banshee and this happend

i just booted into Natty, with my iphone 4 plugged in. After a few minutes i got this crash - i was not doing anything else with the system at the time the crash occurred.

Same issue as Tony Themelis has: just booted with iPhone plugged in, got the crash right after I fired up Thunderbird email client. Also I was eating a grapefruit in front of Ubuntu - could it have chocked with saliva? Don't know who is the producer of that grapefruit - I no longer have it.

Looks like the same thing happened to me. All I wanted to do was charge it. In fact, the one previous time I'd plugged it in to do that I a: didn't have this crash and b: selected the option for it to do nothing when such devices are plugged in.

I have just connected mi iPod Touch 4G and got this error, I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 alpha. On the upstream bug they say is already fixed.

This is still a very serious issue and can affect any iOS Device running iOS 9. A patch does exist in libgpod's git.
