Bug Description
Binary package hint: language-selector
Installed lucid alpha 2 from usb-creator-created stick. Clock applet had time in 12 hour format. Changed to 24-hour. Noticed that can't localize time format from clock preferences. Went to System-
It said something of "language support not installed". Chose to install. Then added Finnish to available of languages. After or before adding Finnish, the installation took many minutes and meddled with openoffice.org-core and such. It had removed OpenOffice completely, except /usr/bin/
After further entering Language Support, I now have OO Writer, which is broken so that toolbar icons appear as text. Now whenever I enter Language Support, it says "The language support is not installed completely". The packages to be installed cycles between openoffice.
Also, entering Software Center says "sorry, ... closed unexpectedly" (but it stays open) and clicking "report problem" generates a "problem in software-center" dialog with a huge list of obsolete packages:
"The problem cannot be reported:

Haven't tried to fix all this. Will try to attach synaptic log with the report.

How can I target this for Lucid, as that's where this belongs? ubuntu-bug didn't do that for me.
This is certainly just an alpha issue, and I wonder if it's non-reproducible as I couldn't find it reported before.
