Regression: kubuntu vivid 'restore session' cannot associate applications to virtual desktops or recover their correct window positions

Bug Description

To reproduce:

1) In kubuntu start plasma desktop
2) Configure the desktop to have virtual desktops (e.g. 4 desktops)
3) Start an application and put it in the 4th virtual destkop
4) Logout
5) Login again

See that the application is automatically restarted, but is placed in the 1st desktop.

Furthermore, the applications are not even restored at the correct coordinates on the screen.

As is, the restore session "feature" in plasma 5 is useless and actually creates more work. Should probably be disabled until it works.

Looks like this has been fixed mid June in Fedora through official F22 packages

* kwin-5.3.1-2.fc22
* qt5-qtbase-5.4.2-2.fc22

Any chances the fixes can also appear in the ubuntu packages?
