Bug Description
Binary package hint: krusader
System: Ubuntu 9.10, 1280x768 laptop screen.
Version: Krusader 1:2.0.0-1ubuntu2
Reproducible: yes
The window geometry and location of a Krusader window changes on selection of files in opposite panels, shifting the Krusader window position left or right and making the window larger than the screen can fit (in both maximized and unmaximized windows).
Maximizing the window does not correct the size to the right screen proportions; the window continues to be too wide and geometry and/or location changes on file selection in opposite panels. Starting Krusader form the command line does not show any logged error messages (also not with the --sync option).
I think this issue started right after a long list of KDE updates were installed in the last week of April 2010.
I have this problem too. But the bug can be eliminated by disabling >startup- >Show command line
configure Krusader-
Somehow, the size of the "command line" interfere with the panel sizes,
causing the problem.
