Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
I have a VM that I am upgrading from Jaunty (yes... I know) to Natty. J to K, K to L, and L to M went perfectly fine (other than having to go one-at-a-time). However, when I attempt to upgrade to Natty through KPackage kit it fails. I can start it, check for updates, and click the link to upgrade. After getting a warning about this being a long process a progress bar zips by quickly and then I receive an error:
Sorry - KPackageKit
Distribution upgrade process exited with code 1.
Not very helpful there. I have checked /var/log and nothing in there looks like it is talking about this issue. A little help?

No matter why it "exits with code 1", the message is utterly useless. Might as well be code 42!
