Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
It is not advisable to accept updates from a particular ppa sometimes, maybe because it breaks functionality that you need, etc. However, you still want the ppa in your "software sources" because subsequent updates will hopefully fix all issues and moreover you dont want to give up the benefits of critical updates.
update-manager in gnome categorizes updates by ppa - kpackagekit shows all updates together. Visually, this is a problem to identify ppa updates.
Please note that just adding a line of text (about a ppa) to each update may not be the most visually intuitive way - however it might be the easy fix in this case.
Ideally what is needed is that each ppa has all its updates under it , "recommended updates" are the regular package repositories. And one can unselect/select all updates under a ppa in one shot (maybe by clicking on the ppa name or something).

I'll probably work on adding a new column "Repositories" so that you can sort and see it optionally.
