Apart from #5, all these issues are still present in Lucid.

KPackageKit was designed to be simple so some features will never made it and others will.
On maverick:
1. There is no way to list all packages.
There is now

2. There is no way to re-install or purge installed packages.
There will probably never will, possibily re-install.

3. There is no way to install a new package and upgrade an existing together.
Not possible yet, though I have some plans to change this.

4. There is no way to show details when refreshing package lists.
Not yet too.

5. 'Depends on' button always returns empty list.
At least with packagekit-backend-aptcc the list is shown

6. There is no way to use APT advanced features such as 'hold, mark manual, force version' etc.
And there won't be since those things are for advanced users, which is not the target of PackageKit.
But I'm considering whether hold is useful.

7. There is no way to know from which repository a package is.
Not yet, but probably for the next release there will be.

I would value it quite highly if kpackagekit would at least respect APT's hold status

It does respect hold, it's behavior is the same of apt-get. (in 10.10 with aptcc backend)
