kodi sports an ugly 'KODI from debian' logo

Just launch kodi 2:17.6+
Look at the horrible logo at the top left.
Just the basic KODI logo would be nice.
Why on earth debian changed that logo in the first place ?
This is ubuntu not debian. This needs to be rebranded or erased. thanks
