kmymoney2 trasaction cancells on changing input method

Bug Description
I have recently installed ubuntu 9.04 (desktop, i386). I installed skim-1.4.5 for inputting in my local language (Tamil). I am successful in using skim with almost all the application except kmymoney2-0.9.2.
When I try to change the input method (to scim) while entering a transaction, it exits the transaction with leaving a choice to me "whether you want cancel the transaction".
I changed the default input method to skim using im-swich. Even after that I am not able to use scim/skim for inputing. If I change the input method by right clicking, then also transaction is quit with the choice "whether you want to cancel this transaction or not?"

Doubt on kmymoney2 since scim/skim works well with other applications.
