Ubuntu crashes at KMyMoney opening

Bug Description

I have been using KMyMoney yet for some time, even within Ubuntu 11.04, with no problem.
Since 2-3 days, this application crashes not only itself, but the full Ubuntu session (i.e. black screen, then returns to requesting user password!)
What happens SYSTEMATICALLY:
1 - launch KMyMoney
2 – blue box “KDE 4” displays for a short while
3 – application does not appear at all, replaced by a black screen – all open applications are affected
I installed KMyMoney for Windows within a W7 partition: I could open the same data file with no problem, file opens normally!
I also tried to reinstall KMyMoney + Keepassx + ALL installed modules related to “kde” through Synaptic, having also canceled manually the conf file for both applications → this does not change anything.
Interesting to mention that at the exact same time, Keepassx started to crash more or less in the same way (also used for a long time with Ubuntu, and for one month and a half with version 11.04): I issued a separate bug report for this other one (see #8014645).
I mainly wonder why this happened suddenly and for both applications at the same time? Could it be some updated package in the dependencies?
Thanks in advance for debugging this solution that I use almost daily and that I appreciate very much.
Francois

Correction in description: after installing KMY completely again, there was a slight change in the syndroms.
At point 2 above, KMY now displayed home screen, presenting correct data. Then, when clicking on any link (e.g.; Accounts, Ledger,...), Ubuntu system dumped. Same result if starting with "kmymoney -n" and trying to create a new data file.
As I could not succeed in issuing a stack trace (see other bug report #801645 related to keepass), I attach the terminal record while opening KMY (before the crash stage).

I also encountered KMyMoney crashing everytime I open it and click on the Ledger tab. This behaviour happened after my recent Updates done on 29 January 2012. My KMyMoney is now unusable.

Here is my Stack Report generated by the application:

Backtrace of the crash I experienced:

Start KMyMoney from th Terminal with the following command:
$ export QT_ACCESSIBILITY=0 && kmymoney

This should probably be closed as outdated. KMyMoney 5.1 has recently been released, and uses KDE Frameworks, no longer the KDE4 libraries.
