Klam AV update crashes

Binary package hint: apport

I get this error. I am also not able to update. Klam AV crashes when scan begins.
 ICE default IO error handler doing an exit(), pid = 11594, errno = 11
Also receive a similar error right after logon
ps aux does not reveal what the pid is when ran directly after the error occurs
