No, "duplicate" is not a duplicate.

First, were talking different versions of the distro, almost a year apart,

Secondly, after review printing from a browser does not complete. It will print the first 1/4 of a page or so and then just print big long colored blocks.

Text printing from Kate seems to work.

Same page. same printer, older version 10.10 via KMint, same HPLIP (direct from the HPLIP PPA) versions, page prints fine. Only change is KDE 4.7.0.
