Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdesdk
This is kcachegrind 4.3.2-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 9.10.
It was happening the same on 9.04 with kubuntu backports (at least, I can't remember if it happened with stock 9.04).
When I open a callgrind profile in kcachegrind, no profile information appears in any widgets : call stack is empty, callers list is empty. The only meaningful information is what appears on the status bar, at the bottom of the screen, where I see for example "profile.out [1] : Total cost (ticks) : 9 409". I guess it means the file has somehow been loaded.
What I expected was the call stack to get filled with a call list, and the other widgets to be filled as well.

I had the same problem. ( KCachegrind Version 0.7.4kde Using KDE Development Platform 4.13.3)
I have workaround this problem by deleting:
~/.kde/ share/config/ kcachegrindrc
I am attaching both old broken file and new (autogenerated)
