Bug Description
Despite all the other samba discussions going on in general and in gnome, the kubuntu-desktop should simply download and install the samba server, when sharing a folder is request, hence it does not violate the ubuntu no open ports rules. Also using security should remain with the user, as I certainly do not intend to share with anyone whos on the net, i refrain from using smbpasswd in console, so there should be a sweet and simple tool to set up samba passwords and user accounts, making sharing less a pain than it is right now. Ive seen all the described above working like a charm in other distributions, though it should not be to hard to adopt it.
