Bug Description
Most audio-CD-related applications work as expected (CDDB lookup, playing, ripping) -- Asunder, kscd, Sound-Juicer, k3b, soundKonverter and others.
But the Device Notifier widget shows inserted audio CDs as "CD-ROM" rather than "Audio CD" or artist/title (I'm not sure what it's supposed to do). There's always just a single available action: "Play Audio CD with Amarok". This action appears whether or not Amarok is actually installed. Selecting it will load Amarok, but Amarok won't play audio CDs.
And In Dolphin, the Places sidebar likewise shows audio CDs as "CD-ROM". Going to "audiocd:/" results in a location (breadcrumb view) of "> audiocd: > audiocd > audiocd > audiocd". There're two folders: "Full CD" is empty, and "Information" contains a series of "CDDB Information.txt" files, all 448 bytes large or just under. Trying to open them produces an Error dialogue box saying "The file or folder CDDB Information_4.txt (or whichever number it may be) does not exist."

Audio cds sometimes work if they are present at boot. Otherwise, audio cds are unusable for me at the moment.
