Bug Description
From Question 6507: I have successfully installed the driver for my Epson Stylus Photo 870 printer It prints, but I only see support for the most basic options (I'm using Kubuntu Feisty). Other distributions I've tried have provided options for a wide variety of normal and photo papers and different print resolutions, but the driver in Kubuntu only seems to support 2 sizes of plain paper at one print resolution. How do I add support for the other options ?
It appears that a very old or incomplete ppd file is supplied for this printer. If I replace it with a file from another distro (PcLinuxOS) there are many more options available. If I could figure how to attach a copy if that file, I would.
That's how I attach. Here's a sample of much more comprehensive ppd
