Bug Description
Printing from Kate (and other apps, like Chrome using the system print dialog), selecting "Options" then "Pages" the "2" Pages per Sheet.
In 12.10, this correctly printed two pages side-by-side, turning the orientation to fit them best on the page.
After upgrading to 13.10, this same machine now prints the pages side-by-side, but keeps the orientation the same, but starts both pages 1/3 down the sheet, and leaves the right side of the second page out completely.
I just tried this from a fresh installed 13.10 machine and this is not the case. Could this be an upgrade config problem? an upgrade library problem? or perhaps an upgrade printer driver problem?
The machine that works correctly uses an incorrect driver:
Brother HL-4050CDN Foomatic/Postscript
The machine that does not work correctly uses the "correct" driver:
Brother HL-4150CDN series CUPS, installed from Brother
As I change drivers to the included drivers, the behavior changes back to what I expect. Perhaps this is a matter of the vendor driver only working on a given Ubuntu release?
Either way, please mark this as closed. I'm still submitting for informational purposes.
